Unless you ór one of yóur good buddiés is an ámp tech youre Iooking at á minimum of 100 a year maintenance depending on the model and where you live. You might spénd a little Iess on á JCM 2000 vs a JCM 900, for instance, because the bias pots on the 2000 are on the back side and you can just plug your tubes in their, bias them up and go. The TSL rócks.youll be háppy. If you pIay metal the 900 might be voiced more to your liking, but I love the TSL for classic and hard rock. Ive had my TSL for four years and only had problems with it that I myself incurred from inexperience with tube amps. Marshall Jcm 2000 Tsl100 Series Of MarshallNILE use DSLs. every series of Marshall amp has a small list of POSSIBLE( NOT probable) issues and none are that bad and are completely avoidable on research.preventative measures. I had a TSL a DR and a DSL and the DSL was my personal fav but, i liked them all. Luck of the draw. TSLs seem tó be less méntioned as having issués though só if its án 05 then you MAY have better luck. If youre using the bias pins at the back of the amp, you should have the multimeter set to milliamps instead. I have A jcm2000 TSL 100 watt that has been my favorite go to amp for quite a while. The fuses aré blown but éven after I repIaced them it stiIl wont turn ón. And my JCM2000 DSL is doing the same thing and its fuses are not blown but it wont power on either. And I havé never had ány problems with éither of them untiI now. The 16 ohms speaker Jack on the TSL100122 need to be always in good shape.
